In this trailer there is much that is used in order to restrict narrative and create tension and anticipation for the audience. This is the top goal especially for this type of trailer which is a teaser trailer.
As per all trailers at the beginning there is the advertisement of the production company, or the innovators behind the production in this case 'DC Comics'. This is for one intended as advertisement and helps boost the opinion of the trailer and likely hood of watching when there is a well known supporter or production company.
Then further through the trailer there is this shot which is a close up of a Superman statue which has 'False God' written on it which creates tension and heavier thinking for the audience as Superman is considered or is the hero however, this shot suggests otherwise with a vandalized statue bringing down his social status and public opinion.
Before the statue however there is this shot of Superman saving a failed space launch, this subverting the image of the statue afterwards.
In this shot at the end, being the very soul and main purpose of the trailer as it is Batman v Superman which is already subverting images as they are both hero's.
This shot also being very effective not for the visual but for the audio which says 'Do you bleed, you will' which clearly points to a fight and then the end creating huge tension for the audience and being the now fairly well known sentence.
