• As the cabin is inside the hand, it could imply that the dead own and dominate the forest and the cabin within it
• Within the hand the colour is an orange with hints of red, usually associated with fire and blood
• The image itself is tilted, which could imply some sort of instability within the movie, which causes the dead to awaken
• The colour scheme is like traditional horror movies, as there is black, white and red used within the poster
• The background is not entirely white, it has a tint of red which could show that even something that looks pure may not always be so pure
