Song scouting

I decided to search for appropriate songs on Soundcloud which weren't copyright protected

I found a selection of 6 songs after a long look, most of which were either rap or hip-hop genres, with the exclusion of "The funeral" cover

I chose to have a go at editing this song using Adobe Audition CC

Firstly, I reduced the intensity of the song as it would have come out distorted.

After this, I deleted the first verse of singing as it didn't sound professional enough, and replaced this with an instrumental verse. 

I added a toned down instrumental verse to finish off the sequence, as we currently don't know how long our trailer will be, so I put it at around the 55 second mark.

Finally, I copied a strum of the guitar as the song finishes, and pasted 7 copies of this onto the end, making each one gradually quieter to finish the song off.
