Editing - Tube clip
- After uploading our first draft of the trailer, we realised that in one the London tube shots that my arm can be seen in the bottom left corner of the screen and needed to by edited out.
- In order to edit the arm out of the shot, we decided to make the shot into a close of the moving windows of the tube and to do this we had to activate the crop the effect as shown in the image below.
- After activating the crop effect, I had to hold shift and crop the shot so the arm was now out of the shot and no focusing on the moving windows of the tube.
- The reason for holding shift key while doing this is to keep the crop in proportion and so it will looked as if it has not been cropped.
- After reviewing the newly cropped shot and making sure that the shot of the windows was how we wanted it I now had to increase the size of the shot so it would fill the screen.
- To do this I used the Transformation effect which allows you alter to the size of the shot and using shift key again to keep proportionality, I stretched the shot so it would fill the screen.
- Finally, the finished product after my editing to the clip was successful as the shot does not contain my arm in the bottom right corner any more.
- An added bonus was that this newly edited shot gave our trailer a different framed shot which was indeed needed because most of our shots were of the same framing and therefore this gave us some diversity in shots.
