Shooting script - drinking shots in bar/club

We needed to show drinking in our trailer to conform to our genre of a Crime Drama. We thought the best way to do this was to have a shot in a club.
This was not possible though due to only 1 member of our group being 18, and so we recreated this in the photography suite at school.

We found two female actors that appeared to look older, and myself as the main protagonist. On the day, we brought in club lights, a large bottle of alcohol (filled with apple juice) and got the girls to bring in dresses they would wear on a fancy night out, we then set up the black backdrop.

The photography suite was pitch black without light, and the club lights were too dark to see what was happening. To solve this issue Bailey used one of the spotlights, whilst facing it the opposite direction, holding different amounts of paper in front of it to darken the light. This was still not very effective as it was either too light, or too dark. The club lights also had periods of time when they were off in between different colours, this made it difficult to capture long lasting shots.

During the shots, we tried a few things, first was myself simply talking to the girls with my drink at hand. We then tried me approaching the two girls with an over the shoulder shot, whilst they pretended to whisper about me coming towards them. Finally we tried sitting down at stools, but this didn't look as effective as it could as there was no bar by the stools.
