Creating the end title shot
By Connor Taylor
As per all teaser trailers, there is always a title shot at the end which contains either a release date, vague release date (Summer 2016), and with the possible additions of a website link and possible other credits to the production companies.
The first task that I had to do was to create a simple title layout which I could then manipulate. I then added the text which was conforming to most teaser trailers ' In cinemas, August 2' and then the website domain name.
I then altered and configured the typography of the title shots so that they would have the identical typography of the other title shots. In then however, had the need to make the final title shot differ from the rest of the title shots.
To do this I altered the transition and the animations on the title shot so that there is a clear difference between solid changes from the normal titles shots, to this one which is a reel in and reel out.
To conclude I believe that the ending title shot was a success, it looks very similar to the rest of title shots and conforms to the rest of the trailer whilst still making the title shot differ from the rest and give a solid ending to the trailer.
