At the beginning of the trailer with the production company advertisement, there is a characteristic intro sound to thrillers with a low pitch buzz which starts to set the mood for the audience.
Then at this point their is some old western dreary violin music giving it the feel that he is a lone wolf he has a history of violence, and that their will be violence.
Then the first title shot for the trailer appears with an impact sound to emphasis on the title and what it says.
Then the background music stops, then some tape jammed sound effects are played with really intense of key music plays to further intensify the moment in the trailer.
At this part the western music starts up again but now with the addition of a ticking stop watch which starts to build suspense again.
At this point there is a very fast ticking noise from a pocket watch with some high intensity background music creating more suspense for the climax or end of the trailer.
Then at the end part of the trailer the sound starts to blur and fade with a higher pitch tone as if you were in a car crash, creating a intense ending with a fading of all aspects to it.
To conclude I thought that this trailer was very effective at building suspense, which considering it is a thriller makes the trailer successful in my opinion.
